Said they were from Virgin Media. Told me there was complaints about my router being slow. Wanted me to check the router even tho i'm not the account owner. Pretty sure this was a scam since Virgin always speaks to the actual account holder.

They've rung my company about 20 times in the past few days. I've asked them repeatedly to stop ringing, but they just keep on. It's honestly harassing. The way they speak to you is really unpleasant. At first, they're all sly with their phrasing, trying to make it sound like you're already signed up with them, but when you call them out on it, they get quite rude and pushy. If I ever decide to switch providers, it won’t be with them. Their bad attitude really puts people off and harms their rep.

ACTION ENERGY - got loads of calls from different brokers today, but action energy were honestly the nicest. ended up going with them and got passed on to another company called npower. looks like a decent deal - guess i'll see how it goes!

Got a call from someone called Mark Buchan saying he’s with the registration team at some government linked firm called Action Energy. The numbers he used were 01772 348153 and 0845 902 8975. He said our current supplier, E.ON, is gonna put us on some kind of emergency high charge tariff and pushed us to switch to BES. I double checked with E.ON and they said it’s not true at all, sounds like a scam to me. Don’t really know where to report these scammers - they’ve called a few times and keep hassling, saying we must change suppliers urgently.

I was a bit irritated at first but after explaining why they shouldn’t have my contact and that they can’t say they’re the ‘renewals department’ when they’re actually a broker, they agreed to remove all my info. Got bombarded with five calls from these idiots in a single day. They spout complete rubbish, talking about emergency tariffs and "call back today" nonsense. One guy even got proper rude when I told him he was blatantly lying! They're an absolute joke! The people on the line kept saying they weren't selling anything and it wasn’t cold calling, but when I asked more, they said they were calling on behalf of some energy supplier I’d never heard of.
