I was approached by someone offering to help reclaim bank charges for a price of £49.99. They requested my bank information, but I would never give that out. I spoke with a rather cold caller named Emily Shaw, who said she would return my call, but I never received any message from her for an advisor to contact my bank. I’m planning to drop by their office within the next month as something doesn’t add up here. The advisor seemed very knowledgeable and had all the answers at their fingertips. However, their online details suggested they were located in Bolton, yet the phone number wasn’t a Bolton dialing code. It all feels quite dodgy to me.
