I've been inundated with calls from this number for ages now - on occasion, I've even had three or four in just one week! The callers typically claim to be from Microsoft or the Technical Department of TalkTalk, asserting they've discovered an issue with my computer or IP address. They consistently urge me to log in so they can 'clarify' what the problem is. It’s nothing but a dodgy scam!

Some bloke called Jonathan rang me, saying he was with Microsoft and said there was an issue with my laptop. I said, “Oh great, is it completely knackered then?” and without a word he just ended the call! Of course, nothing was wrong with my laptop at all. Honestly, when will these scammers get shut down for doing this rubbish?

Got a call bright and early at 7am today. Some Indian lady who struggled with English, saying she was from Microsoft and needed to fix my computer. I told her I don’t even own a PC. She kept insisting I did. Honestly, these are total scammers. Never share your details or follow their instructions. WATCH OUT FOR SCAMS! Some bloke with a heavy foreign accent rang me up saying there was a virus on my PC. Said he was from Microsoft, but his English was all over the place. When I told him I'd do what he said, he suddenly got all eager. He wanted me to do everything he told me step by step. When he asked if I’d done it, I told him no, cos I don’t even own a computer. He got angry and called me a scammer! Talk about cheek. BE CAREFUL, THESE LOT ARE JUST SCAMMERS!

Got a call first thing this morning from some pushy bloke telling me my computer had serious issues. I told him straight there was nothing wrong, but he just wouldn’t let it go, saying ‘you wouldn’t know that.’ I didn’t want to engage anymore but he kept blabbering on. BEWARE 01253 675726 & 07793 589933 Got called by an Indian woman saying she was from Microsoft server support. First she rang me from a mobile, then when I ended the call she tried again from a landline. She claimed my computer was hacked and wanted me to turn it on to enter some ID. When I said no, she threatened to erase everything on my PC. I just told her fine, go ahead and wipe it, then hung up. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

This guy Michael said he was from Microsoft and told me my Windows PC was sending out loads of dodgy data. He wouldn't say which of my two computers was the problem though. He kept saying he was calling from Reading but my phone showed an international number instead. I cut the call off, but he rang back straight away asking why I'd ended it - I hung up again. Later, after lunch, he called once more, and after I dismissed him, he called from a mobile number, 07793589933, which I've seen mentioned on this site before.

Beware of this con! They pretended to represent Microsoft, saying they needed to sort out my computer issues. To cut a long story short, they send over an email with a dodgy file that’s basically a virus, or they might try to manipulate you into granting them Remote Desktop access. Received three calls this morning. The initial one was from a rather irritable woman of Asian descent claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting she needed to fix some issues on my computer caused by a so-called Microsoft error. I played along, letting her know I only had a rather antiquated phone and would need to step away to another room to start up my computer. After a rather extended stay in my library/bathroom, I returned only to find she had disconnected. Not long after, I got two more calls from the same lady, yet again leaving a message. You can't fool someone who’s been around the block!
