I've received quite a few phone calls from this number previously, one of which was from someone claiming to be from NHS Bradford and A&E, inquiring about an accident they assumed I’d had. It had been a while since I heard from them-likely because the last time they rang, I answered them by pretending to be of Pakistani descent and mimicked a Pakistani accent, as I suspected the caller might be of similar background. This time around, he introduced himself as Peter. Coincidentally, that very day I had just been in touch with my GP's office, which I hadn't done for a long stretch. It seems to me they tend to reach out when I've had recent communication with my surgery. Just to clarify, I haven’t had any sort of accident worth mentioning, and it’s rather frustrating that complete strangers have access to my personal landline number.

I recently received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be Matthew, who spoke with a pronounced Indian accent. I'm half tempted to introduce myself as Sandeep the next time they ring. Honestly, these types of individuals are the worst; they have no respect for decent people and really ought to be shunned from our community.

Here we go again! After a brief lull in the incessant ringing, I received yet another call, this time inquiring about my purported injuries from an "accident" I had absolutely no clue about. I probed for more information, asking about the vehicle I was supposedly driving-only to be met with complete silence regarding that. When I pressed him on the specifics of when and where this unfortunate event supposedly occurred, shockingly, he couldn't provide a shred of detail either. At that point, I figured there was no need to continue the conversation, so I hung up. It seems he might have just handed my info off to his colleague beside him. What really tickles me, though, is the trend of so many individuals of Asian descent adopting classic English names. Up to this point, I've encountered Philip, John, Steven, and Andrew! Quite the ensemble, don't you think?

I experienced a similar insurance con where they claimed I was involved in an accident. Absolutely ridiculous! The caller had the typical foreign accent. I didn’t hesitate to hang up.

I could hear a bit of chatter in the background when a chap with a thick accent piped up, claiming to be from some sort of 'accident investigation service'. I couldn't help myself and retorted with, 'Oh, please, carry on with your little con.' He insisted, 'It's not a con, really.' So, I urged him to proceed. He then started rambling about how there'd been reports of an accident involving me in the last two years, asking if I was the homeowner. I chuckled and replied, 'I'm quite entertained by your little ruse,' at which point the line mysteriously went dead.
