I received a phone call from someone claiming to be City Distributions. The woman on the line was quite polite and mentioned it was some sort of housekeeping call, which confused me. I told her she probably rung the wrong number. She then explained the number she intended to call, admitting she’d mixed up two digits in the area code. She was apologetic and seemed sincere. Later, I checked the number and saw there’s actually a company with that name in Blackpool.

I got a call from this number and had a quick look online before picking up. It showed up as some company called City Distribution Bathrooms based in Blackpool. But when I finally spoke to them, it was an Indian lady laughing with others in the background, saying it was from Carphone Warehouse. Feels a bit fishy to me.
