Today, a family member received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be an Amazon representative. This caller inquired whether they'd made a purchase for an iPhone 7 and suggested that if there wasn't an order in place, they should press 1 to cancel it. The moment my relative heard this, they smelled a rat and promptly hung up. Upon further investigation of their Amazon and bank accounts, they discovered no trace of such an order or any transactions related to it. When they attempted to ring the number back, it turned out to be unreachable. Just a heads up, everyone! Stay vigilant!
