Got a call on my cell and when I asked who was calling, the bloke with an Asian accent just said "02." I replied, "Surely this is a scam?" and he just went quiet and then cut the call. What a load of rubbish.

Someone rang up saying EE and O2 had joined forces and now share networks, offering a 40% discount on my bill for a year. They didn’t follow the proper security checks, which made me suspicious. Plus, they couldn't properly say what my monthly cost would be.

They claimed they were from O2, but you could tell it was definitely a scam.
