Got a call today from 01253 531508, they were asking for someone who doesn’t even work here. Used the wrong name and gave a dodgy address. Said they were with Savings Direct or something like that. Couldn’t give any real details about the company or the person they were after. Ended up blocking the number.

Sounds like someone’s accidentally redialling our number, maybe with the phone in their pocket. I’ve called back and left a couple of messages over the past few days. I’m planning to report it to the fraud authorities and ask for the number to be taken off the phone company’s directory, along with a warning explaining why. It’s clogging up our answer machine.
