I received a rather alarming voicemail from this number earlier. It was a pre-recorded message, claiming to be from Bulb Energy, asserting that my energy account was in arrears. They even went so far as to threaten sending debt collectors round to my residence. Fortunately, it's all a ruse.

Got a message from this number after I ignored a call from +443003030635. They claimed to be Bulb energy and were threatening to start debt recovery over unpaid bills. It was pretty obvious a scam because I always pay my energy bills via direct debit, so there’s no way I’d be behind on payments - as long as there’s enough cash in the bank, of course. Definitely dodgy behaviour.

I got a message asking if I was happy with a call supposedly from Bulb. Earlier, I took a call that showed up as Bulb on my phone, and based on the details, I thought it was genuine enough. When I got the message though, I just ignored it and blocked the sender. Later, I decided to phone Bulb myself, and they told me their Revenue team had indeed called me. So, everything’s fine in the end 🙂

I reckon this might have been from Bulb, as I spoke with them not long before getting that automated text asking for feedback about the call. It turned up as a text on my landline. I’m always a bit cautious about replying to random calls, so I didn’t bother responding. Just to give them the benefit of the doubt, I’m guessing it’s Bulb, but if it’s supposed to come from their main office, I don’t think it’s right - the area code 01253 points to Blackpool, which isn’t where their head office is.

After looking through the comments here, it might actually be BULB. I spoke to them the day before, then got a recorded call about some BT text message. But I’m not totally sure, it could be some sort of Scam since BULB already have my email and they regularly send me emails anyway. I ended up deleting the message and I’m planning to email them to make them aware of what’s going on. bulb[###]/contact

I just got a call from a number that turned out to be BT's SMS service for landlines, you get charged 5p a minute from BT if you pick up (there might be extra fees too). The call was actually a message from Bulb Energy, asking me to fill out a customer satisfaction survey.

check my note from 14/06/2019. around that time, i switched my electric provider to bulb and spoke to them on the phone to sort out my account. the call happened less than a day before i got a voicemail from my answering machine which was a bit odd. i found it quite weird they’d use this kind of voice message for a survey, when bulb already have online and app systems that would be much better suited for it.

Then, I dialled 1471 to check the caller, and weirdly enough, the number that supposedly called me was actually my own number! Proper strange. Not really pleased about this at all.

Just had a phone call a moment ago, was one of those surveys about how I found a recent chat with my energy company, Bulb. They’d ring me a few days back about switching out the meter, so it all kinda makes sense. They rang my home number, which I suppose explains why the message went to the speech-to-text inbox.

last night at around 12.15am, my landline rang out the blue, then it buzzed again early morning like at 7.40 and once more at 10.05. strangely, i got a text from 01253530342 asking me to rate the call but i never actually got one from that number. didnt bother calling back, just looked it up here and turned out to be a scam. i always use this site to check numbers i dont know, never fails to surprise me how sneaky these scammers can be.

Got a text around 8 in the morning saying I missed a voicemail from about 12:23am. I tried calling back on 1571 but the voice was all garbled and just sounded like they wanted me to answer some kind of survey. I ended up telling my phone provider about it and they said it’s a scam. So don’t call that number back or you might get hit with expensive charges.

Got a call just before 5 in the morning, with an SMS to voice thing from bt pic, calling from 0845 602 1111, showing this number 01253 530342. They wanted me to rate a recent phone call, pressing 1 if unhappy up to 5 if very happy. Problem is, I barely heard anything else. Tried looking up 02183 530342 but couldn’t find it anywhere. Also, the 01253 code is Blackpool area, but I haven’t called anyone there recently. Seems dodgy, probably a scam!

At 2 in the morning we had a text message pop up on our home phone from this number. It disturbed everyone, even woke our little one who we’d only just managed to settle. The recorded voice in the message didn’t clearly say who it was from, so now I’m trying to figure out where it came from.
