Got a call from Brighthouse earlier, some guy saying my window warranty was nearly up and he needed to come check them out to approve it. Told him I’d never had windows put in, just patio doors, but he kept going on about my name being on the warranty. Eventually, I agreed to a 2pm visit tomorrow, as he said someone from his team would be nearby then. Later, I looked up the number online and now I’m proper annoyed at myself for falling for it. If he actually shows, he’ll be met with a very chilly reception and I won’t hesitate to mention the police!

I received a call from someone claiming to represent Brught Homes, informing me that my window warranty had lapsed and that a technician would be popping round the following day to inspect them. The woman on the line completely dismissed my questions and abruptly hung up. When I attempted to call back, the line was abruptly cut. On the third attempt, a gentleman answered, and when I requested to chat with the manager, he said "one moment" before hanging up on me again. After doing some research, it’s clear that this company has faced numerous complaints, yet they continue their antics. I'm genuinely worried about elderly or vulnerable individuals who might fall prey to such tactics, especially if someone from this company shows up at their doorstep claiming their windows are in dire need of replacement. If you get a call from them, don’t hesitate to disconnect!

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from Liverpool, offering to clean our windows for free. I told her I'm not interested if she’s trying to sell me something. Then out of nowhere, the call just dropped with a loud noise.

I just received a rather unsolicited call from someone claiming to be affiliated with a company called Bright Home. They were going on about a 15-year warranty for double glazing that was supposedly fitted at my home. Quite the unexpected conversation, I must say!

This one rings and straight away asks if it’s Mr C------, and once you answer yes, they just cut the call. Seems pretty sketchy if you ask me.

Last week, I got a call from Bright Homes using a different number but the same area code. They told me our windows were nearly out of warranty and tried to set up an appointment for today (Monday) to inspect them. I turned down the offer. However, today, they rang this number to confirm a 2pm appointment with us. I'm a bit suspicious about the whole thing, feels like a tactic they might be using to get in and start pushing a sales pitch on us.

There's this bloke at ESG named Tony, and honestly, he's such a pain in the arse.

Got a call earlier from a woman who talked really quickly. She claimed to be from Bright House and said because my windows are over ten years old, they'd be sending out someone to do a free inspection. She mentioned knowing the installer but insisted they were working on behalf of the manufacturer. She was super pushy, trying to make it seem legit. When she asked if the time she booked was alright and I said no, she just hung up straight away.

Got a call from a sales guy trying to chat about a window they never installed. He got pretty rude and even threatened to come round to our place. Still waiting to see what he'll do next.

About 10 days back, I flagged EnergyGlass London using the number 0345 286 1689 to TPS. They got back to me saying they’d reached out to the company for their side of things. Now, these lot have started pretending to be from Blackpool numbers! I told TPS once more and luckily BT Call Protect stepped in and blocked them.

They had my name right but the address was way off, looked like they were using some old database. Tried to sell me a service to keep my windows updated, told em I could handle it myself and ended the call. Then blocked the number by signing up with 1572, which is free with BT.

Over the past week, I’ve gotten like 9 calls from these awful folks. When I told the guy to piss off, he told me the same and said I shouldn’t talk to him like that. Now it seems like they’re just calling to get a rise out of me. I really despise cold callers, they’re the worst.

Got a call on my landline, but they just cut off straight away, total waste of time really.

Got a sales call, bloody annoying prats!

I told the woman pretty clearly that I wasn’t interested and that my number’s on the TPS, so I couldn’t understand why she kept calling. She came across as quite rude and didn’t take no for an answer. When I said not to call back again, she cheekily asked what would happen if she did. I warned her I’d report her for harassment if she kept ringing.

This company gave me a ring recently, and the man who showed up was really friendly and polite. He shared some useful tips on how to take care of my windows. I was quite doubtful at the start but I'm really happy I went ahead with the appointment. Definitely worth trying them out, I’d suggest it!

This number has rung me a few times, and every time I pick up, there’s about a 10-second quiet pause and then they just hang up. It happened again on 30th April 2018. Honestly, it’s quite annoying.

Typical rubbish like always, I told them off and then just hung up straight away.

They claimed to be clever with Windows, but honestly, seemed like total con artists trying to convince me to let them fix my windows. Not falling for that at all.

I got a call saying they were from smart glass, but when I told them cold calling's not allowed, they denied selling anything. That’s rubbish, they’re definitely pushing double glazing without following the rules. I’ve reported them to the telephone preference service and blocked their number. Wouldn’t recommend dealing with them at all - they’re untrustworthy. Best just tell them to stop calling and hang up straight away.

A firm based in Blackpool gave me a ring just like before. I booked a slot because I wasn’t sure when the windows were last done, but after looking it up realised they’re only 7 years old, so I pulled out of the appointment. What’s worrying is how they got my info - I’m ex-directory and yet they seemed to know exactly who I am and my address.

I got a phone call saying my windows were no longer under warranty. The man insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch, but when I asked how it related to my home since I’ve never had windows installed, he just kept going on about the windows being out of guarantee after 10 years. He mentioned a 15 to 20 minute check-up to look at seals and catches, plus a report and a free part for me. I tried a few times to ask if this was legit, but he kept repeating the same warranty spiel. In the end, I just told him I wasn’t interested and didn’t need the call.

Got a call today; my warranty with a well-known installer expired ages ago. Pretty sure this ‘inspection’ is just a way for them to push more work onto me.

I had pretty much the same thing happen, they said they were inspecting our windows since the warranty was nearly up. Mentioned something about fensa and giving a certificate when the guarantee ends. Seemed believable at first, but once I thought it over, it definitely felt dodgy.

Got a call from some muppet saying my windows were about to lose their warranty and offered a free checkup with some paperwork or whatever. Since a family member installed my windows, I’m pretty sure that’s just a load of rubbish.
