I didn't bother to leave a message in the end.

I received a missed call a couple of days post my car crash, and unfortunately, I didn't recognise the number so I opted not to call back. The second time around, I picked up, but it was just silence on the line. It's possible my number was passed on either by RAC or by the recovery services they might hand off to, since I've heard that RAC only covers breakdowns and not accidents. Alternatively - though it's a less likely scenario - it might have come from Elephant insurance.
