I’ve been getting calls from this number multiple times every day. Does anyone know how I can stop it from ringing on my phone?

For days now, I’ve been getting calls at this number from someone who sounds like they’re from India or Pakistan. They ring me multiple times a day and often say my computer is riddled with viruses. They even mention that it’s caught the FBI virus on a few occasions. Other times, they claim I’ve won a silver Mercedes Benz and a massive £7 million! Apparently, all they need is my address and phone number to deliver it. Usually, the caller ID shows up as UNKNOWN or some weird string like 1253429c454. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, but what really worries me is that they seem to be infecting my PC with spyware and malware. Anyone got any idea how to block them? Or maybe a tool I can use to send back at them and mess with their systems?

They ring me a good few times every day - like 3 or 4 times. But when I pick up no one ever talks. I just ignore the calls now, but definitely want to find a way to block or get rid of them for good.

In just 15 minutes, they rang me three times. Then I got another call from a number with only three digits, and the person claimed to be from "Window Services." The first caller said something about my computers, but I told them I’m a programmer who handles both hardware and software, and there’s nothing wrong with my devices. She just hung up on me. The others I told straight up they were running a scam and that I’d report them, and they ended the call quickly. All of them spoke with thick accents. I’m with T Mobile, and the calls only began after I switched to a new phone. Cheers, T Mobile, but you need to seriously improve your security.

I just had a ring from this number as well. The voice on the other end was definitely Eastern European or maybe Russian, struggling a bit with English. They claimed to be with some US government agency, but honestly, I was suspicious right away - who calls at 9pm on a Saturday? Felt like a total scam straight off.

It's not just folks with T-Mobile, Verizon customers like me are getting bombarded as well. They keep ringing me up from loads of different numbers, nonstop.

So frustrating!! They ring me up and rather than introducing themselves, they just ask, "who's speaking?" When I say, "you're the one calling, so who do you want?" they just drop the call!! Proper annoying!!

Totally a scam. They told me I was picked for some grant but then wanted my personal details. Not sure where they even found my phone number from.

I keep getting calls from what sounds like an Indian call centre, pretty sure it’s a scam. The only way to make them stop is to set my phone to block the number, but they just keep trying again. By the way, I have T-Mobile as well.

Turns out only folks with T-Mobile get these calls. I rang up T-Mobile myself, and they said they’re gonna check what’s going on. Even the T-Mobile employee told me she’s had the same call. It’s definitely a scam, so best not pick up - they just won’t stop ringing otherwise.
