Received a call from this number, but they didn't leave a message-what a bit of a rookie move! Anyone have a clue who's behind it?

We tried calling them back, but when we did, the folks on the other end just greeted us with a casual "hi" without identifying themselves as a business. I'm a bit hesitant to engage further, as I’m worried they might start pestering us if I give them the chance.
