Got a phone call from someone saying they needed to inspect our windows since the warranty had expired, supposedly working for the supplier. I double-checked with the supplier and turns out it was all nonsense. They'd never even heard of this 'smart windows' company or the caller. So I cancelled the appointment. Also, I’m ex-directory, so not sure how they got my number.

I've had calls from this number a couple of times recently, and just today I chatted with a bloke who spoke English. He said he was from some aftercare group called Energy Smart Glass, checking up on warranties from glass makers. I had some new windows put in by a big company nearby about 20 years back, and they had all my info right, so I'm guessing this must be a genuine outfit?

I've had about three or four calls in the last few days, none of which left a voicemail. Quite annoying, really.

This number calls me more than three times every day. The lady on the line said her name was Joanne and somehow knew my full name, but there was loads of static and background noise. Then she just ended the call straight away.

I didn’t pick up, just let it ring until the answerphone kicked in. Then a woman started making weird beep beep noises, like beep beep beep, beep beep, beep beep beep and then she just ended the call.

It was a lady speaking. I told her I couldn’t hear properly due to the loud noise around me, and she just ended the call.
