2 yearsToday I got a call from 01253333491, someone claimed my Amazon and other accounts had been charged with loads of unauthorised transactions. The call was fully automated and didn’t say anything about which bank or card it was, just that there were large unauthorised spends. But if the spends are unauthorised, how could they just take the money? A real bank or company wouldn’t allow that, right? They told me to press one to take action, but I didn’t trust it and just hung up. BE WARNED, looks like scammers are using local area codes now to make it seem legit.
