When I picked up, it was a woman’s voice on a recording saying there were two suspicious big charges on one of our cards, mentioning two places and amounts over a thousand pounds each. Then it asked me to press 1 or 2 to either confirm or get more info. Obviously, I hung up straightaway. I did try ringing the number back since it was a local landline, but it just cut off and then went to a Virgin landline voicemail like you’d expect from a regular home phone. Definitely someone pretending to be a local Blackpool number trying to scam folks. Best just ignore and block it.
