I received a rather unwelcome call from someone identifying himself as "Jack Jones." He was inquiring about any payday loans I might have. When I questioned him on how he obtained my number, he became quite abrasive and dismissive. What an insufferable character!

Today at 5.54 pm, this number 01253286239 rang me but I didn’t pick up. When I called back, it was a recorded voice asking me to take part in some marketing survey for Beneficial. I think it’s a scam. I’ve talked to Beneficial before and they normally use a Manchester number. I’ve blocked it now.

Received a call around half past seven this evening. Picked up but there was nothing but dead air on the other end. The number showed as being from Blackpool, yet I’m all the way down in Bognor Regis. Quite odd, don’t you think?
