There was loads of noise in the background, and the caller had an accent that sounded foreign. He claimed to be from Open Reach or BT and wanted to talk about our internet service. Since we're on the TPS, I just ended the call straight away. Pretty clear it was some kind of marketing scam.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, so I'm just going to block it. Honestly blocking won't do much since these dodgy scammers just use different numbers over and over to try and trick people. Hopefully the phone companies here in the UK, especially with the new laws coming in, will finally crack down on these pests for good.
