2 monthsSo, we've got calls coming from Ruby Energy. Somehow, a utilities account got passed down to us from them, but honestly, they seem totally dodgy. They sent us a bill the first time with the wrong bank details, then pushed for open banking access - no chance on that. Next, they slapped a £50 late fee on a bill that wasn’t even £13, and they hadn’t even told us how to pay properly beforehand. After we settled the actual bill (forget the £50 fine), they've been ringing us every single day for the past couple of weeks demanding that £13 again. Proper mess, really.Ruby Energy2 yearsSo, on a Friday night around 7.20pm, I got a ring. When I picked up, they just hung up straight away without saying a word. I tried calling back and the message said “your call is very important to us,” but no one actually answered when I went back through. Bit odd, really.2 yearsI got a call from 01253 271932, sounded like some dodgy marketing scam. They wanted my personal details, so I’d say just ignore it and definitely don’t pick up.
