They claimed to be from national utilities talking about there not being a tenant on record here. We’ve just reopened our showroom with some fresh displays, but these lot reckoned it was a brand new showroom with new people inside. A girl calling herself Ellie kept ringing me about a tenancy change at an address that’s absolutely nothing to do with us. Every time I told her it was a mistake, she’d say sorry and promise to update their records so they wouldn’t ring again. But then, a different woman phoned, saying the same thing. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but he just didn’t seem to get that they had got the wrong number. He even said there was no Ellie working there.
