I got a call out the blue from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse. Proper cold call, I wasn’t expecting it at all! Little annoying that they ring up without any warning.

this phone number has been ringing me nonstop. sometimes i cant pick up in time, but whenever i do, they just cut me off straight away. its making me not want to pick up my phone at all. is this some kind of scam or dangerous? why wont they just leave me alone? does anyone know how to block or get rid of them?

This number rings me almost every afternoon. Whenever I answer, they just end the call right away. I decided to call back and got put on hold with that annoying message saying “your call is very important to us, please wait,” repeated about four times. Then, out of nowhere, a voice said “goodbye” and cut off. The number’s local, 01253271386, which makes it even more suspicious.
