I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was “Arun” from some place called “digital friends”. Definitely a scam. Best to just hang up, block the number, and report it straight away. Don’t engage at all.

I got a call from some spammer who said he was ringing from Liverpool, but the number showed up as a Blackpool one. He claimed to be from British Gas and said they couldn’t reach us by email because they kept bouncing back. He asked for our meter readings and numbers, and even mentioned a refund. Thing is, we’re not with British Gas at all! So I told him to find a real job and hung up straight away.
