I’d just ended my Prime membership online, not even knowing I’d signed up for it until I checked my bank statement. Then I got an automated call about the £39.99 fee. They told me to press '1' to cancel, so I did, but things got fishy when they asked me to log into my Amazon account. I realised it was a scam and declined, and the person on the line just hung up on me. I’m not sure if the call was triggered by me cancelling or if it was just a lucky guess by the crook.

Got a call from what seemed like a UK number but the screen showed it was an international call. A recorded message said it was from Amazon, telling me my Prime account would be charged soon and if I wanted to talk to someone, press 1. I don’t even have Prime! I just ended the call. Pretty sure it was just another scam.
