We got a call on our home phone yesterday from someone claiming to be Peter from BT. He said there was an issue with our broadband or computer that needed sorting out straight away. My husband kept him on the line for a bit, asking what exactly the problem was. Then he told the caller that what he was doing was dishonest and to stop immediately. After that, the person hung up. We reckon he was trying to gain access to our computer, but thankfully we didn’t fall for it. The number's now blocked on our phone.
