Got a call about some home plumbing insurance and they claimed they’d cut my fee from £25 down to £12.50 a month. I told them I didn’t even recall paying £25 before and they got a bit dodgy. I kept them chatting and of course they wanted my bank info to “send over approval papers” (as if!). Like others said, they use GDPR as an excuse when you question them. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number, guy claimed he was from Homeserve saying I was overpaying for my appliance insurance. When I asked which appliances he meant, the call got put on hold and I just ended it there.

Annoying fraudster keeps calling repeatedly, claiming to be from 'Homesure’, a company providing gas plumbing insurance. He insists on verifying our information, but when I question him because we aren't affiliated with 'HomeSure', he immediately ends the call. His accent sounds like it's from the UK. Got a call from this number earlier today, it was a recorded voice about boiler insurance. It asked a question then waited for me to answer. I kept quiet, then it asked me to call back to get an extension. Totally seems like a scam to me.

Homesure has been calling me multiple times regarding my drainage cover insurance and gas & electric policies. Although I do not possess this insurance, they have persistently reached out to me since the start of the year, giving the impression that they have no plans to cease their calls. While they may be repetitive, I don't believe it to be a scam.

This number rang me and said pretty much the same things others have mentioned here, like my drainage and plumbing cover had expired. They kept saying I shouldn’t worry because it’ll be renewed automatically at a better rate and that an engineer would be coming round soon. I hadn’t said anything except saying ‘hello’ at the start. Had to hang up because the bloke just went on non-stop. Utter rubbish! I’ve blocked the number now but honestly, what do these scammers expect to gain by pestering people with all this nonsense?

Got a call from someone saying they were with Home Secure Drainage. I asked who they were trying to reach and then they just ended the call. Usually if they don't know who they're talking to, it's a bit dodgy.

Yesterday, I received an unexpected call regarding my gas and electric policy that provides coverage for breakdowns. Initially, I assumed it was a mistake since I had no complaints. To my surprise, the caller was actually after my personal information. In response, I promptly ended the call and hung up on them.
