Got a call from 01252954015 saying I'd somehow earned £300 on Amazon and another £1300 through a bank transfer. They never mentioned which card it was about. Then they told me to press 1 if I wanted to approve the £300 and the £1300 bank transfer. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Absolute scumbags, these fraudsters ring me up from various numbers, mostly on a Monday. I got an automated message claiming to be my 'bank security,' warning me about some suspicious card activity this morning and all that nonsense. I really hope someone was nearby to hear me let loose with some proper rude language and a few curses that would scare the pants off them. Blocking doesn’t seem to work since they keep switching numbers. So frustrating! 🤬🤬🤬

These calls are happening way too much lately. My elderly neighbour, who’s 84, got so scared by one she rushed straight to the bank to fix things. I just don’t understand how the people behind this can sleep at night. It’s really getting out of hand. Some folks don’t even realise it’s a scam, so they go all the way to the bank, spending money on taxis they might not even have, just because they’re terrified it’s all real. Proper awful.
