Got a call from someone trying to scam me about some solar panel claim.

Got a call today from someone saying they were from Sky Maintenance - well, that’s funny because I don't even have Sky! It was pretty clear it was another dodgy scam. The caller had that typical young Asian woman's voice, which seems to be the go-to for these sorts of rip-offs. Do they not see how much this just fuels the stereotype about Asians and scams? It's a bit annoying really.

I tried to get rid of an email on my laptop, and this message showed up. I gave the site’s suggestion a go and rebooted my computer, which sorted it out.

I found my laptop unresponsive, displaying a message urging me to ring this number. It’s clearly a con, as Microsoft never instructs users to contact a phone line!

I reckon the name's just some random thing computers spit out for the link. Not sure how my missus ended up with it, maybe she tapped an advert while playing Sudoku online. I just switched the laptop off completely and did a proper restart.

My laptop just completely locked up and some American guy was on the line... total SCAM. Honestly, don’t even think about ringing that number. It took ages, like over 30 minutes, to sort my computer out again, and I was lucky to have security software installed. They told me if you dial the number that pops up, you’re basically handing over control to scammers. Seriously, steer well clear of that number!!!

My laptop suddenly froze and a message popped up telling me to ring this number claiming they're from Microsoft and can help fix the issue. The person who answered had an American accent and told me not to switch off the laptop. I’m a bit iffy about whether it’s legit and hesitant to actually phone them.
