Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, said their name was Alex and that they were from BT Openreach. They told me there was an issue with my internet. Didn't buy it and hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

some bloke called me saying he's from bt and theres an issue with my internet. the thing is, im with virgin so it cant be bt right? then he wanted my ip address, i asked what for and he said to fix the internet. total scam if you ask me.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from BT sayin there was an issue with my internet. Problem is, I ain’t got BT at all! He then asks for my IP address, and when I asked why, he said it was to sort out the internet problem. But I’m pretty sure what he really meant was 'give me your IP so I can look through your computer for bank info'. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
