Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were with Openreach. Thing is, I’m with Virgin cable and never had anything to do with BT. I’m pretty sure they got the number from 1471, but it felt dodgy. My number’s ex-directory and I’m on the telephone preference service, so no idea how they got hold of me!
