6 yearsAs soon as I picked up, it was clear to me that I was on the receiving end of a dodgy call. Some voice began to prattle on about an Amazon Prime subscription that I hadn’t signed up for, claiming that they were going to deduct a sum from my bank account. They wanted me to press '1' to cancel the charge. Whatever you do, steer clear of that nonsense! I certainly did. Just to be safe, I checked my Amazon account and, surprise surprise, there was no sign of any Prime order. I ended the call and set up the 1572 service through my BT plan to block any future calls from that pesky number.
