I got a dodgy call that sounded like a robot trying to act human, defo illegal. I told ICO and Ofcom about it straight away. If you ever get a number that looks fishy, just stay quiet and don’t say anything. Those robocalls usually use some kind of dialler which records if you say nothing, so staying silent might stop them calling back. Don’t forget to report it to ICO and Ofcom as well, so they know people are getting bugged by these nuisance calls.
