Got a call from someone saying they were from the Windows tech support team. She asked if I was the primary user of the computer, and I replied with a cheeky 'not exactly'. Then, she just ended the call right away.

Got a call earlier with some automated voice claiming my Amazon Prime trial ended and they’d taken £39 from my bank. They said if I wanted to talk, press 4. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime. Hung up and blocked the number straight away. Just another scam, really. Why do they still get away with this?

Got a call earlier with a pre-recorded voice saying my Amazon Prime free trial was over and they'd take £39 from my bank. They said to press 4 if I wanted to talk about it. I don't even have Amazon Prime! Hung up straight away and blocked the number. Such a blatant scam. It’s mad that no one’s stopping these dodgy calls.

Got a ring from this number claiming to be from the windows support team. The lady on the line said it was about my "windows computer, ok,” to which i just said “no” right away. She said “sorry” after that, so i asked if she even understood what "no" meant. After that it all went quiet. I cheekily asked if she was here to nick all my info, but no answer. Honestly, just humour these scammers, they're total leeches!

I received a call from a woman named Mary; she had quite a distinctive accent and mentioned she was ringing from "Vindos aid and zuppot." I assumed she meant something along the lines of Windows and the like. I decided to end the conversation and promptly blocked her number.

The caller, who sounded distinctly Indian, warned me that my laptop had been compromised due to my online shopping habits and bill payments. I cheekily pointed out that it was probably down to the explicit sites I often indulge in, as I have a bit of an obsession with, ahem, self-pleasure. At that, they promptly ended the call!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Windows tech support. They started on about how my Microsoft system wasn’t updating properly. The guy had an accent from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent. When he tried to explain how he’d need to remote into my computer to sort it out, I told him I use a Mac. Seemed like he couldn’t quite get that Mac isn’t a Microsoft OS. Definitely a dodgy scam.
