Some scammer with a nasty accent called me, saying I’d bought a new iPhone from Amazon and that my card would be charged £400. Then he asked if I wanted to go ahead or cancel the order. Sounded Indian, and I swear it was the same bloke I’ve heard before. I just told him I’m off and hung up, but he kept begging me to stay on the phone. Proper awful job, rude folks.

Someone has rung me twice already today. I pick up but for a couple seconds, there's silence, then it sounds like a call centre noise before it just hangs up. Not sure if it's a spam call or something else though.

I got a call from a bloke claiming I owed money on credit cards and loans. When I asked him to clarify which debts he meant, this bloke with a thick accent (not trying to be rude, but sounded like he was from the Indian subcontinent, which I've noticed before living abroad) just started swearing at me loads, saying things like "F*** you, MF" over and over. Honestly, if an older person got a call like that, they’d be proper scared. I really want to find out who these lot are because it’s just not on to speak to folks like that.

i think it was spam. i didnt have any credit on my phone to ring them back anyway. i figured maybe they’d ring me again since i missed their call but nope, nothing so far. guess i’ll wait and see what goes on from here.

Such a hassle! You tell them you’re not interested and then bam, they’re ringing you again the very next day. Honestly, there ought to be proper rules stopping companies like this from pestering people. I tried blocking their number but they just switch to another one and get straight back to pestering. So frustrating!

Picked up the phone but they just cut off. The following time they called, it went straight to voicemail and they didn’t say anything.

I reckon this is some sort of scam or dodgy call. When I first answered, the person just hung up on me. Then, later on while I was at work, they rang back claiming to be from a credit company but dropped the call again. Honestly, I’d watch out for this one.

They kept ringing me up loads of times, but the line was so bad I could barely make out what they were saying. Then this person starts saying I owe money or something. When I asked who exactly they reckoned I owed, I told them to explain since apparently, they know stuff I don't. Total scam, best to just ignore it.

I just don’t pick up anymore - if it’s important, surely they’ll leave a voicemail. After reading what others have said here, I’m definitely not bothering to answer.

When I answered the phone, some bloke with a thick accent just said hello in a really unprofessional manner, so I just ended the call straight away.

This was an obvious scam, they claimed to be chasing me for debts but couldn’t say which ones or even confirm my last name. Very fishy.
