Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent saying he was Jordan from BT Openreach. Then he just goes off, calling my mum names. Left me silent, didn’t know what to say. Total scam, avoid.

I just got a call from 01252654434, it was a live person, not some automated message. The guy sounded quite young and had a strong Chinese accent. He said he was Mike from BT, calling about my internet. His English was really poor, barely making sense. It was a very awkward try at a scam, but still pretty irritating.

I just ignored the ring and it went straight to voicemail, then the person calling hung up without saying anything.

this guy called me saying he was alex from bt but sounded like some call centre in india. he claimed my internet had problems because of malicious viruses on my router and asked if i could check it straight away. i just told him everything was alright with my router and ended the call.

I didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar. No voicemail or anything, so I guess it’s just another spam call. Been getting tons of these in Sheffield lately.

I answered the call but kept quiet since I figured it was some dodgy spam, then the caller just hung up suddenly.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, but when I tried to ask him stuff, he just didn’t respond and hung up suddenly without saying why he was ringing.

Got a call from a man who sounded like he was working in some call centre, probably from Asia. Wouldn’t tell me why he was phoning. As soon as I mentioned that my phone was being listened to by the police, he just hung up straight away. Definitely felt like a dodgy call. This is the fourth time today I’ve had calls like this coming from different numbers, even though my number isn’t listed anywhere. Watch out!
