Received a call from this number earlier today claiming to be from BT Openreach. They told me my internet speed wasn’t what I was paying for and wanted me to download an app called Team Viewer Quick Support to fix it. The person on the line had a loud background noise, sounded foreign - maybe Indian? When I pointed out the noise, he said he was working from home, which didn’t really add up. I didn’t go ahead with the app or continue the call. The guy was quite forceful in his tone and actually laughed when I mentioned I was worried about security. Definitely felt off to me.

This number has been calling me loads, saying they're from BT and warning about suspicious activity on my internet, like someone's trying to hack into my stuff. The calls happen a couple of times daily, there's always a lot of noise in the background, and the caller sounds like they’re from abroad. It’s pretty annoying and feels like harassment.
