7 yearsI've just received a rather odd couple of calls in quick succession, both featuring an automated voice claiming to be from BT, insisting that my internet would be disconnected thanks to some third party interference. They urged me to press 1 to chat with someone who could sort it out. Quite peculiar, I must say. The first call originated from 01942 893452, a number linked to the Wigan area, while the second came from 01252511837, which was flagged as INTERNATIONAL but is actually connected to Aldershot. Oh, and there was also a mysterious third call from 001953688377. This all reeks of a scam, whether it be a high-cost call or some sort of underhanded ploy to gain access to my details.
