Received a call on 8th October from an Asian gentleman who insisted on getting our personal details. He claimed we’d applied for a private loan and could supposedly assist us. After a brief chat, he passed us onto a colleague who continued the trend of demanding our private information. Ultimately, this chap wanted the full sixteen digits of our bank card. When we asked why he needed it, he explained it was to process the loan funds. We firmly replied that this was unnecessary and asked him to get back to us another time.

Received a call today that felt like a bunch of mates having a jolly good time! The chap on the line wanted to speak to the Sky box account holder, claiming our warranty was about to run out. Oddly enough, they didn’t seem to know our name. Wouldn’t you expect them to? They then went on to propose some utterly ridiculous packages, and we mentioned we’d need to have a word with our partner first. Meanwhile, I could hear some blokes chuckling in the background, trying to make the caller giggle. The moment we raised a few questions, she got her back up and promptly hung up. How utterly rude! Still a bit unsure whether they’re on the level or not.

These folk are known as UCC LOANS, and what happens is that they receive your details from the companies where you've sought credit. They’ll be in touch, telling you that the institution you've approached has rejected your application, which, let's be honest, isn't accurate at all. What they really do is connect you to another loan brokerage that charges a hefty £80 just to let you know the name of a lender who might be able to assist you, all while claiming that you’ve met the criteria set by that lender. Quite the dubious racket, if you ask me!

This number bombarded us with a staggering 52 calls in a single day! They didn’t utter a word nor did they leave a message on our answering machine. We’re registered with the caller preference scheme, so we’re not supposed to get these nuisance calls at all. Anyone know who might be behind this relentless ringing? Even loan companies wouldn’t harass someone that many times!

I received just a single call from this number, which we immediately recognised as we're currently vetting our incoming calls due to being in an IVA. When we picked up, the call went to the voicemail, and an articulate gentleman, who sounded of Indian descent, repeated 'hello' three or four times before abruptly ending the call without leaving a proper message. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

We pressed for details, and he mentioned it was linked to an application we had submitted for a loan. We clarified that we refrain from providing our number on such platforms, as our background is in investigating scams. He wished us well for the day, and I promptly concluded the call!

It appears that I've been receiving calls from a loan company. It's quite frustrating as they hang up immediately after we pick up. On occasion, they inquire about my wife, which raises some questions. We've previously asked them why they continue this annoying practice of ringing only to disconnect. Just moments ago, they called again and, guess what? They hung up for the fifth time today alone! It's rather infuriating, to say the least.
