A few days back I got a call from this number, some guy with an Indian accent named Alex claiming to be from BT Openreach. He was banging on about issues with my BT internet and how my network was supposedly compromised. When I told him I dont even have BT phone or internet, he just went quiet and then blurted out "Oh Jesus" before hanging up. Since then ive been getting calls daily with the same nonsense story. Very dodgy.

I received a call from a chap named David Edwards, who spoke with a pronounced Indian accent, claiming to represent BT Internet. He insisted that there was a problem with my internet connection and wanted to perform a ‘reset’ on my behalf. When I informed him that BT wasn’t actually my internet provider, he abruptly hung up. Clearly, he’s not quite in sync with the modern world! When he attempted to verify my address, I politely refused to give away any information, and his response was rather rude-told me to "clear off" before hanging up. They rang me at 8:20 in the morning, and after a brief silence, some bloke with a heavy accent said he was Harry from Microsoft. He claimed he was ringing about my computer and asked for its name. Funny timing, cos I was just struggling to log in to mine. Still, I hadn’t asked for any help, so I told him the name of my computer was “Get Lost!”

I got a call from this number, but they didn’t leave a message on my voicemail. Seeing what others have said, I’m guessing it’s just another one of those scams.

I had a rather peculiar phone call today from someone claiming to represent Sky. She began the conversation by inquiring about my internet connection, which I found rather odd. Then, she proceeded to assert that there was an unauthorised user on my Wi-Fi. I expressed my doubts about that being the case and swiftly concluded the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky, saying that someone was connected to our wifi without permission. She started by asking if we'd noticed any issues with our internet. I told her I didn’t believe there was any problem and then just hung up.

At about half ten in the morning, I got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media. They said there was an issue with our internet. We told them that wasn’t the case, and then they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Kevin at Microsoft, but he had a strong Far East accent. Tried to ring back, but the number just wouldn’t connect. Definitely feels super sketchy!

Got a call about 8 in the morning claiming to be from Microsoft and saying there was an issue with my PC. Didn’t buy it for a second, so I just hung up straight away and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number saying there was some sort of hack on my SKY broadband account. Thing is, I’ve never even been with SKY. When I said I’d be passing their number on to the telephone preference service, they quickly ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me!
