Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, chatting about the internet speed between my router and their side. Sounded a bit fishy to me.

Got a ring from this number earlier, some bloke who sounded like he might be Asian, saying there was issues with my router and offering help to sort it out. I told him to call again in a bit as I’d just stepped out of the shower, then I ended the call and blocked him straight away.

i got a call from someone with an asian accent, loads of noisy sounds in the background, claiming to be from openreach. they said my router was showing error messages and needed fixing. i asked for the specific error codes, which seemed to stump them, then they passed me on to a ‘supervisor’. we went through the same chat again, and then he just cut me off. honestly, i find it kinda fun messing with these lot!

I just got a call and all I could hear was dead silence. Then out of nowhere, a voice saying "the other person has cleared" popped up. Really strange!
