steer clear of these! they say they’re from BT but honestly all they want is to sneak into your computer, take control and maybe even demand money to give it back. complete scam, just like others have mentioned.

Got a call sounding like some bloke pretending to be from BT tech support, but I reckon it was one of those fake computer voices. He said if I didn’t act fast, my internet would get cut off in a day because they’d spotted hacking on my IP. Then he insisted I press certain buttons on my phone. Having a recording of it wouldn't really prove anything, I think it was all made up.
