Honestly, I got a call from people saying they could help me cut costs on my appliance cover, but it felt super fishy. I reckon their real aim is just to sneak in your bank info and take you for a ride. Total scammers, watch out!

Today I got two calls from this number, once earlier and then again later on. The line was really bad both times, so I could barely understand what was being said. I caught a bit about a TV, but before I could get more info, the call just ended. Judging by the number and the way they called, plus what others have said, I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of scam trying to sell insurance for home appliances.

Got a call from a woman who claimed that since our home appliances were all working fine, they could lower our insurance on them. I told her we actually don’t have any insurance on our appliances at all. Then she just hung up on me. Definitely seemed like a scam to me, probably just trying to get our bank info.

I always just let my answerphone pick up calls like this. If it’s one of those automated calls, the robot usually hangs up since it thinks it’s talking to another machine. But this time, there was just silence when I answered. Honestly, it felt both annoying and a bit worrying. Definitely going to block that number now.
