this number rang me up earlier. a lady with what sounded like a chinese accent said she was from microsoft, saying hackers were breaking into my computer and she needed to access it to fix things. i was a bit dodgy about it and told her i'm busy right now. later on, i looked up the number and saw loads of others had got the exact same call. they're definitely scammers, probably the ones trying to hack people.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the Windows licensing team. I just said I use a work laptop and the caller, who had an Asian accent, quickly hung up. That was that!

I called BT to report 01252 352598 and they told me they keep an eye on it. They also blocked it for me. Guess they weren't too happy since I was only using a Mac.

Got a call from some asian bloke who knew my name. When I asked who it was, he just cut the call. Sounds like another scam to me? I've blocked the number now.

I got stung by sloxisoft a while ago, it was a total nightmare. Definitely learned my lesson after that one.

Somebody rang me saying there were software licenses I needed to pay for. Total nonsense, since I only use open source stuff. I just told them to buzz off.

So this woman called me, said she was with Microsoft and that my Windows PC was compromised or something. Total scam, obviously. I told her to buzz off and put the phone down, but she kept ringing back over and over. Ended up having to block the number just to stop the nonsense.

Kept asking for the person who owns the computer but never said who they were. Really dodgy.

This is the second call I've had from them. They even knew our last name! They said they were cancelling something related to a computer, which is ridiculous because we don't own one. Then they wanted to talk to the "owner of the PC" right away. So annoying!

Some bloke called saying he was from Windows support, claiming hackers were using me to ask for cash. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from the "Windows computer department" - except Microsoft never calls you out of the blue! Had loads of scams before where they say they're from "windowsflicencing" or something like that. Asked her twice what she wanted and then she just hung up on me! Definitely not the kind of thing a real company would do, so I reckon it was a scam.
