Just got a call from a new number pretending to be from Microsoft, really annoying scam! Our MP for Aldershot should really push to make it illegal to fake company names like Microsoft or BT on calls. This sort of fraud is getting out of hand, something needs to be done urgently!

Got a call from some leech today. They asked if I had a PC, and I said no. Then they got quite rude, asking who I was. I told the leech I was Elmer Fudd, and they just hung up on me. Typical!

I begrudgingly picked up, figured it was another call centre trying their luck. Stuck around for a while expecting one of those typical scam attempts, but then the line just abruptly cut out after some weird sounds.

Like some folks have mentioned these calls are supposedly from microsoft saying my computer would shut down if i didnt follow their steps. I just ended the call straight away. Sure enough, they rang back but I ignored it completely.

I saw the number pop up and just ignored it, it kept buzzing on my phone for more than a minute before I just left it go. Recognised it right away, so didn’t feel like answering.

Today at about 2.27pm, they phoned me once more. It was the usual - complete silence at first, then this weird ‘whoop’ noise followed by some voices in the background.

this number rang me at 11.14 this morning. i reckon it’s some fresh telemarketer outfit ‘cause no one else has mentioned it yet. i heard only silence on the line, then a faint ‘whoop’ like someone got the call. i hung up quick before they could say anything, figured it was one of those auto dialling jobs. honestly, when will this rubbish end? this is the third time i’ve had this kinda call today.
