Got a call from a woman speaking in pigeon English saying she was from Carphone Warehouse in London, but the number was actually from Blairgowrie. Then she just dropped the call on me!

I picked up the phone, curious about who it was. A woman with an Indian accent claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, promoting some kind of iPhone offer. It was obviously dodgy, so I firmly told her to take my number off their list. I mentioned potentially reporting her for GDPR violations, but she was incredibly dismissive and quite rude before hanging up. After that, I promptly blocked the number.

So, I googled this number 01250890026 and came across Net-work Internet connected to a David Dean, apparently. Coincidentally, right after that, another call came through from a different number but linked to the same firm, and it was ringing on a nearby number that a relative uses. Bit odd, don't you think?

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent trying to pitch phone contracts claiming they had the best deals. I told them I was already on a contract, so it couldn’t be from CarPhone Warehouse since they deal directly with the main networks. Ended up just hanging up on them.

I picked up the phone rather absentmindedly, eagerly anticipating an important call. The person on the line, a woman named Calier, had a quite pronounced Asian accent, which made it hard for me to grasp what she was saying amidst a cacophony of background chatter. The only word that registered with me was "phone." Feeling uneasy, I decided to hang up. It struck me as rather suspicious, possibly even a scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, but their accent sounded Indian or Pakistani. Since I don’t have any deals with them, I suspected it was a scam. I told them my number was on the TPS list, so this kind of call is against the rules, and I’d be reporting them to Action Fraud so the cops could sort it out. Then I just said thanks and ended the call.

Got a call from a number I don’t recognise earlier today but no voicemail or anything, so I’ve got no clue who it was. Probably some kind of promo or spam call, nothing urgent obviously. Just ignored it and added to my blocked list.
