Got a call from a woman speaking in pigeon English saying she was from Carphone Warehouse in London, but the number was actually from Blairgowrie. Then she just dropped the call on me!

Got a call outta the blue, some woman with an Indian accent claiming there’s a bargain from Carphone Warehouse on an iPhone. Total scam, obviously. I told her to take me off their list or I’d report her for GDPR violations. She kept snapping ‘no’ like it was a game, then just hung up on me. I didn’t bother, just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Car Phone Warehouse with a cheap upgrade offer. I don’t even use Car Phone Warehouse, so it was pretty clear it was a scam. Avoid them!

So, I googled this number 01250890026 and came across Net-work Internet connected to a David Dean, apparently. Coincidentally, right after that, another call came through from a different number but linked to the same firm, and it was ringing on a nearby number that a relative uses. Bit odd, don't you think?

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent trying to pitch phone contracts claiming they had the best deals. I told them I was already on a contract, so it couldn’t be from CarPhone Warehouse since they deal directly with the main networks. Ended up just hanging up on them.

I picked up the phone quickly cause I was expecting something important. A woman with a thick Asian accent was talking, but I couldn't make out most of what she said because the noise in the background was pretty loud. The only thing I heard clearly was the word 'phone'. I ended the call pretty fast. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, but their accent sounded Indian or Pakistani. Since I don’t have any deals with them, I suspected it was a scam. I told them my number was on the TPS list, so this kind of call is against the rules, and I’d be reporting them to Action Fraud so the cops could sort it out. Then I just said thanks and ended the call.

Got a call from a number I don’t recognise earlier today but no voicemail or anything, so I’ve got no clue who it was. Probably some kind of promo or spam call, nothing urgent obviously. Just ignored it and added to my blocked list.
