Today, I received a call from someone purporting to be an employee of Carphone Warehouse using this phone number. He presented me with an offer on the latest iPhone 13 Pro that seemed remarkably generous-almost unbelievable, in fact! As it turns out, my suspicions were spot on! This individual, whose accent indicated he’s not local to the UK, is evidently a notorious fraudster.

I was expecting an important call from the hospital, and since they never provide a direct number, I assumed this was the surgeon ringing. Turns out it was just another scammer who couldn’t care less about the distress they cause. You'd have thought with all the tech these days they’d have found a way to block them from getting our numbers. Some bloke rang me up claiming he was with ‘phone house’, said it was part of the car phone warehouse or summat, trying to push the newest iphone with an ‘unlimited taffif’ deal. He reckoned he was calling from Bracknell, somewhere in ‘Berk-see-ah’ or whatever. Complete rubbish and a really poor scam if you ask me.
