I recently received a rather dodgy call about a £900 transaction on my credit card. A mechanical voice instructed me to hit 1 if I wanted to cancel the purchase. Curiously, they didn't mention which bank was supposedly involved. Quite concerning, I must say!

Got a call saying a £900 payment had been taken from my card, and if it wasnt me I should press 1 straight away. They never said what card it was or which company it came from. Seems like a dodgy scam to me, definitely suspicious.
