Got a call on my home phone at about 9.25 this morning. It was some robotic woman speaking with a British accent claiming to be from BT saying my computer was compromised. I hung up and tried calling 1471 straight away, but the line stayed busy. Then a robotic bloke with an American accent came on saying, "thank you for your response." I hung up again but couldn’t get a dial tone. I just put the phone down and left it for a bit, took around two minutes before the line cleared. Proper dodgy stuff.
