I've had several calls from numbers that look alike, with the person saying they’re from BT. They tell me my internet's been hit with a virus and say if I don't fix it, my connection will be cut off. I told them I don't even have BT as my internet supplier, but they kept insisting it’s the BT line that’s causing the issue. I never let them near my computer, yet they threatened to disconnect me in a day and said it would take two months to get back online.
