Like others have said, it was a robotic female voice calling about switching my energy provider. I didn’t answer and blocked the number straight away.

I wanted to renew my tariff, but I can only deal with people who have direct debit, so I hung up the phone.

So, I got a voicemail that literally just said ‘Am I speaking with’ followed by my name. If they really wanted to talk, they should’ve said a bit more about who they were or why they were calling. Didn’t bother calling back.

Got a call out of the blue, thought I was chatting to a real person but it ended up being some sort of AI. The way they paused was super odd, not like a normal convo at all. Proper creepy that it even knew my name. Just hung up straight away.
