Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, they had my address and name right, which was a bit creepy. They kept telling me they had to update some security software on my computer and asked to connect. I could hear loads of noise in the background and they were pretty pushy about it. I rang BT afterwards and they told me they definitely hadn’t called me, so it was a scam for sure.

Somebody said they were from BT, trying to do an update or sumthin'. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, so I didn't give out any info. Thought I'd better check here first!
